Transparent Design

GordonWrightMusic.com is all about transparency. Authenticity. Indeed, the mantra for my whole music “career” these days is to do away with the posturing and positioning of a calculated and marketable identity. Instead, I’m gonna try just being myself.
But being authentic with my music doesn’t mean I won’t, say, use the auto-tune now and then on recordings (that’s right, folks—it’s all over the Fooled By April record…). Similarly, that doesn’t mean we’re not gonna put some bells & whistles on the new website!
But I’m going to update this site’s look in my new, transparent way. So, you can now click to see the first draft of GWM 1.0 homepage. And you can also see the design idea for the GWM 1.0 content pages.
Please, please provide feedback! Your honest thoughts and ideas would be much appreciated at this nascent stage of the site’s design. Believe me, I’m not looking to have to do this again for a long, long time.
