Busker’s Paradise

A close friend of mine is planning a hasty and spontaneous move to Seattle. I don’t think he’s even spent more than a sum total of 3 days there. But he’s in need of a change, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say Seattle doesn’t often seem like the panacea for many of life’s urban woes. So I wished him well and encouraged him to start drinking more coffee.

But now it turns out I should probably contemplate a move, as well: Seattle has started paying its buskers. Color me envious.

I wish NYC would take a lesson from Seattle… busking in parks here is actually not allowd!

Greetings from a fellow busker :)

I’ve actually got about 5 days of actual Seattle time in the books. Five days was all the convincing I needed. Everyone wish me luck on my interviews!
